Hi :)

I think if you find one of those documents that opens in FireFox and
right-click, choose "Properties" then you can set the default program as
LibreOffice. Hopefully there is only 1 sub-set of OpenDocuments that have this
problem on your machine but if you find other documents opening in FireFox then
you might have to repeat this 2 or 3 more times to catch them all.

LibreOffice is not a distro it is a suite. Usually OpenSource projects of
anything like this size are distros and the unusual way TDF formed is more usual
amongst distros so it is easy to make the mistake. It is difficult to think of
a generic term that would cover Gimp, Firefox, Mozilla, the distros, small
libraries, large organisations but i guess "project" is about the most generic?

Tom :)

Hi Tom:

We are talking about something else. It's the part where, in the body of the text, when you are composing an email, if you type ".doc" or ".pdf" a pop-up window on the bottom will rise and prompt you to not forget the attachment. Thunderbird has offered this as a "feature" at the point of install for quite a few versions. You can also turn this "feature" of in the preferences setup. In this case, I submitted a feature request for ODF support and it has been accepted and being completed as we speak.

No problem with calling LibreOffice a suite/project rather than a distro.

Cheers

Marc
