Hello Everyone,
A few days ago, I wrote about a small computer store here in my town
that was thinking about offering LibO instead of MSO to customers who
buy new computers from them. I met with the owner and we've worked out
a deal that I think is fair:
I thought I'd pass on what the dealers here do.
Of the three independent shops in town 2 are pretty much MS shops - one
emphasis Linux and installs OO.o for PC's that go out with Windows.
There is nothing for anyone to pay for that - the owner of the shop that
installs OO.o, is already looking at switching to LibreOffice, but not
until we go stable with the 3.3 release.
For support the currently gives out the OO.o web links, they also
include these on their web site - when they move to LibreOffice they
will simply change those links to the TDF/LibreOffice appropriate
links/sites.
