As an outsider looking in at these proceedings, it is quite clear that
the TDF people who are still at Ooo are on borrowed time. I read through
the minutes and I guess that you are being told to either leave or you
will be asked to leave. But you must have expected this anyway.

indeed, it's a pity what is being said at the moment. As written today,
we have many "forks" - Oracle OO, OOo4Kids and some others. Nobody ever
was forced to lay down the role because of conflict of interest, and
honestly, I haven't anyone outside one specific group asking for that.
However, that specific group is TM owner, so...

Thank you for your courage and I (and am sure many of us) are behind you
and giving you our full support. I'm sure it was a big decision to leave
and to move your work to a new organisation. But it was worth it!

Thank you for creating the TDF and LibreOffice.

Thank you very much, Marc! It's feedback like yours that keeps us going ;)

It is a total shame that they are doing this. What next are they going
to request all that are connected to the LibreOffice community that to
stop being part of the OOo community? Those that are working on the
Documentation project can not be connected to the LibO documentation
project? What about the Distribution Project members? Can't offer
both? What about the user support from the community members, not be
allowed on mailing list for both projects.

I don't think they are concerned about anyone other than people who have
"official" roles in OOo (e.g. project leads), especially those who are
on the Community Council or are engaged in active marketing or public
speaking activities on behalf of OOo. In practical terms, Oracle can't
stop ordinary community members from working on documentation or support
or distribution of both OOo and LibO, though they could make it
inconvenient for any group using webspace on Oracle's servers.
(OOoAuthors is hosted elsewhere and always has been.)
