It seems I've missed it, could it be possible to add French to the
Askbot project please?
Thanks in advance

In fact, I deleted the French Askbot project from Pootle after
consulting Askbot's developer (Evgeny Fadeev). The thing is, that there
was an active French Askbot team in Transifex, so we tried to avoid
duplicated effort.

yes, of course, I understand that.

I'm glad, thank you! :)

I'm chatting to him again now. He actually prefers to move all his L10n
effort into Transifex and asks if that would render a problem for our
localizers. So, would it?

I don't think so, my only will is to have a FR localization of the site. I can help if needed, just tell me where I have to do so :-)

Great! Here are the steps to proceed:
* go to https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/askbot/
* click on "Sign in" in the header, and log in with one of the account options, or create a new account * request to join the French team for Askbot (don't know how, because I'm not logged in, but I'm sure you'll figure out)
* once Evgeny approves you, you can start translating there.

If you work in Pootle enough to consider yourself its user, it would also be interesting if you could compare these two systems from the user's point of view and share your observations. I'm sure that not only myself and Evgeny would be curious, but also the Pootle developers we have on this list. :)

Thanks!

Rimas
