Hi,
Some of our translators demanded Google translate option in Pootle. For
Persian, it does not produce very good outputs, but it can create a base
translation that we can modify and fix.
For enabling the machine translation through Google, please see this:
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/pootle/machine_translation
You can see an example in Pootle's own Pootle, here:
http://pootle.locamotion.org/
After enabling the option, Pootle users will see a tiny *g* icon near copy
icon. Pushing the button will translate the string using Google translate
and put the string on the fuzzy state. Translation request is done by the
browser using Javascript, so there will be no additional load on the Pootle
server.
I think this feature will be useful, and I request enabling it.
Thanks,
Hossein
