Oh, yes, I agree :) several places on our wiki need love I fear. Would

I'm trying to make my improvements when they come to mind. But most
often they don't, so then I fall back to trying to cope with the amount
of emails I've been recieving lately. :)

information for Native-language teams and L10n Teams on different pages?

I don't really know how these teams are differrent. IMO, a single well
structured area should be able to serve all local teams well, be they
localizers, supporters, or marketers...

Well, why not, as long as somebody working on marketing or documentation and searching for a team doesn't have to scroll into all the l10n things ;)

What I think is really needed is a "main entry point" to the L10n/NL
wiki. It should at least contain links to the pages:
* how to join/start an L10n team
* how to get a website in your language (XX.libreoffice.org)
* where to register/how to join mailing lists
* other relevant topics (if any, can't think of them now)

As long as the info above doesn't take much space, I think the same page
could contain the aforementioned table with a list of L10n/NL/Language
teams.

ok, let see how it goes, if there is too much info, it's easy to split any way.

By the way, in my opinion, QA is a part of the L10n process, so perhaps
it shouldn't be separated from the L10n topic right in the home page.

Yes and no ;-) in fact a big part of the QA is not related to l10n even if it's needed in l10n area. What we can do is only speak about test dedicated to l10n? May be it depends also on how we structure the tests on Litmus (if Litmus is ok)

Also, I can't help but assume that there usually is some
coordination/communication/collaboration between all the teams working
on a particular language (e.g. French L10n, QA, Support, Marketing
teams). I just can't imagine them all working absolutely independently,
each heading their own direction. Or is my imagination too limited? :)

Most of the time, they never do translations, but the needed material is created by the different teams, we have our own posters, flyers, how-tos, books, mascot, website etc, so localization has very little to do (may be even nothing) with this work. The only direct cooperation would be about QA and the feedback provided on the localization quality. In fact, Native-language teams are much more creative than localizers ;-) Joke apart, it's just not the same job (and I love localization) , but I think it's true for several projects here.
