Cool.
Grabbed the 6.1alpha daily build just now and there it is as the default.
Also grabbed a 6.04 and then the 5.whatever it is that comes out of the
Ubuntu repo so I could create fresh hsql embed to open in 6.1.
There are a bunch of older odb files on my computer which could feed some
tests (some of them are too old to worry about I think)
It's a been a long while since I did anything here but I'll put some time
into testing and send feedback on the list and bug tracker. I doubt I'll
build from since I am comfortable grabbing daily builds on a regular and
frequent basis.
Thanks for you efforts.

Hi,
I recently finished the majority of HSQLDB database migration inside Base
documents. You can test it with opening an old .odb file which contains
embedded
HSQL database.
As part of this project I also:
- removed "experimental" marker from Firebird.
- removed the ability to create embedded HSQLDB documents from wizard. Now
embedded Firebird is the default choice.
- Erased the hsqldb code entirely:

I would like to ask you to CC me to any upcoming problems related to the
migration or dbaccess. I'll try to do my best to make Base a reliable and
useful
part of LibreOffice.
