that's a great idea in theory, unfortunately it would throw out any hope of compatibility with 
Microsoft Office as well....

Next time I'm up to getting lost in a document that makes no logical
sense, I'll wade through the OOXML standards, and see how round
trippable what I've been playing with, would be.
