3. Now I am conding in Linux konsole, have you other developmet tools
like MS visual studio or Eclipse and where do you work in ? What
development tools do you use?
That's very much a personal-taste issue; eg. I use 'emacs' many others
use 'vi' or a variant; any professional tool for editing would no doubt
work which would include Eclipse / MSVC etc. I'd strongly recommend not
using the moral equivalent of 'notepad' ;-)
I have tested KDevelop (just because I use KDE) and I am quite happy
even with the limitations I get from a huge codebase....
The main benefits I got are: autocompletion, code analysis, fancy
navigation thru classes, members and files.
Drawbacks/untested: Unable to build/run from the IDE (must go to a
shell). Very long start time and large memory consumption (because of
the project size), some hickups in UI because of background processes,
unresponsive kdevelop mailing list if help is needed.
Your mileage may vary.
regards
