well as it turns out it does, rtl_string_ImplAlloc always creates a
mea culpa :-) I was too quick, and forgot the char buffer[1] that we
have in the structure definition - conveniently giving space for the
last char, without being immediately visible in the allocation
arithmetic.
So Noel's fix is golden, phew :-)
