I disagree a bit with that. Ideally configure should check anything again, what
happens id your libdb-dev got fubar due some dist-upgrade/gets missing?
Where we again are at the problem that many things in configure have a problem
when ran with a shell already having the env sourced (like when you change
switches, it might not get noticed).
