Hi,

NSIS part of LibreOffice Windows installer uses the language of the
operating system. The next part (setup.exe/MSI) is always in English.
In his comment - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32389#c5
- Michael Meeks wrote: "Wrt. an English install - this is a
feature-not-bug". Can you please explain why? Is there a problem with
a few languages that are not supported by Windows?

I have seen two different approaches of multi language install in OOo
based applications. Installer of Novell Edition uses the language of
the operating system (both NSIS and MSI). OxygenOffice uses the
language set in regional settings (it can be different from the OS
language) both in NSIS and MSI.

BTW I played a little bit with libreoffice33.msi, I embedded some
language transform files following the instructions in
http://www.installsite.org/pages/en/msi/articles/embeddedlang/index.htm
and it worked. libreoffice33.msi started in the language set in
regional settings. However, traditional methods (as in Novell Edition
and OxygenOffice) may also work.

Thanks,
Andras
