the wired cubes remind me of a spider web but I also prefer the colored
walls because of the reference to the modules. Another issue is that you
need the background, well maybe it's not essential as your wires are grey
but at least it may appear weird on white backgrounds. The version number 5
was criticized in the current release and should be removed in future.

But primarily I'm afraid your ideas come a bit late. Not that v6 has been
released but all needed artwork (there are also the Windows installer and
the about box) has been done (
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108928). Feel free to
raise an issue with the current implementation, no hard feelings from my
side.
