Is it something like the add slide hover button on Citrus UI? http://clickortap.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/addslide2.png Maybe no need for an onMouseOver function, just display a semi-transparent sign "Add Slide", and it's good to go. And I think that Presentation Toolbar is too far away from where it is needed.
