Hi Mirek,

Mirek M. píše v St 31. 10. 2012 v 20:21 +0100:

Astron told me that it may have been you who introduced the topic of
designing some T-shirts for FOSDEM, so I'm turning to you with a few
questions:
1) Why turn to the design team and not the marketing team?

Ah - we need the design of the T-shirts, so thought of the Design team
first, that you might have ideas / process for the call for designs etc.
I prefer nice T-shirts to those with only a logo :-)

[How to get them printed & delivered to FOSDEM, that will of course be a
marketing problem :-)]

2) How are they supposed to be branded? Should they carry both the
LibreOffice brand and the FOSDEM brand, or just one?

Only LibreOffice (or LibreOffice, The Document Foundation), so that if
we don't sell everything on FOSDEM, we'll be able to use them on other
events too.

Should they have the year?

Preferably not, I think.

I'm not sure how to interpret the "best if not generically branded
though" from the ESC minutes.

That was supposed to indicate not to include the "FOSDEM" on them :-)

Generally, best if only 1-2 colors are used, that makes the T-shirts
cheaper. Full-color is generally possible (uses 4 color CMYK), but does
not usually look good. If you want to see the designs from the last
years (2011 done by Jimmac, 2012 done commercially by the same company
who printed the T-shirts for me), I can make them available.

Thank you a lot,
Kendy
