It definitely works in LibreOffice 3.4.3 on Windows XP and on Windows 
7. We haven't done the same amount of testing on other operating systems.
Can you tell me what OS you are running and which Java version?
And what exactly do you mean with: "It didn't work."? Are you 
referring to the installation or to something else? Did you see any 
error messages?
