Oh, there is something that can be improved :-)

I searched in the bug reports and found:

I don't know exactly the reasons, so I propose that you write a bug
report mentioning the feedback you've got. For the meantime, is there
any way for you tweaking the config settings for all the computers in
the company?

Yes, we know that the color stuff is limited ... there are a few
improvements on the way. From the Release Notes 3.5 (DRAFT!) page:
        "Template creator:
        LibreOffice Writer implements a new concept of template creator.
        Users can easily create a template by inserting a title page and
        designing it, by specifying the headings format and their
        numbering style. Templates will include color sets and they can
        be directly shared with other users through the
        Documentfoundation template server. Included a colour set
        switcher to easily change the template colors."

        The color picker that is available eg. in Tools -> Options ->
        Colors, press Edit has been rewritten to be more modern, and

Furthermore, a developer and I started to collect some issues to rework
the color selection - unfortunately, both of us have *very* limited time
for that (sorry!):

Okay, Impress has such a feature since quite some time.

For Calc, the current workaround is to use a formula and conditional
formatting (awkward, but works). 

For Writer, there is no such solution at the moment.

My proposal: please write but reports (for enhancements), so that the
developers know what is important for users.

What are you referring to? Since I don't see the attachment, its hard to
guess - Markus implemented some cool improvements to allow more than one
AutoFilter.

True, something like that is missing. On the other hand, the development
is currently busy with lots of different stuff - so even if we had such
a site, it wouldn't help much. At the moment - but we keep that in mind.
Some of us even worked towards such an approach during the
OpenOffice.org times.

For now, such enhancement requests can be raised via bugs.
