Hmmm... :-) Wondering if I went nuts, I actually just went through
*all* the enormous quantity of writing in the 3 threads that developed
off-list about my proposal that I'd work on a SilverStripe theme, and
the only reply I can find that you made to me was:

"It'll have to be a -1 from me. But I won't just say -1, I'll volunteer
to implement the design with Bernhard, Christian, Christoph and Nik in
a manner that can hopefully garner greater involvement from the design
team but still respect a deadline (e.g. early/mid January) and a
particular design direction."

But I have to totally agree with what you said in the same message. I
feel exactly the same way:

"The mailing lists by themselves are information overload and
gobble up hours in an instant, particularly for someone who's
subscribed to more than 3-4 of them. Personally, I feel as if that's
been a barrier to becoming a more active contributor, and I'd like to
(try to) do something about it."

Anyway, thanks for your support now:

OK, then can we work together, you and I?

The situation is this: like I said before, I already reproduced all
the graphics using Photoshop 6, based on the screenshots I had. I sent
the graphics to Nikash for review, but I think he's still on holiday,
and I haven't heard back from him yet.

In any case, he told me from the start that he wouldn't really have
time to work on the theme and CSS as such. So I've been doing that
myself. There's still a lot of work to be done tweaking the CSS and
Silverstripe templates.

But we can't get ahead today, because Florian took the sandbox server
offline suddenly without announcement, "because it was due for
re-installation", and it still isn't back online yet (although he said
he'd put it back online the evening of the same day). I just sent him
another mail about it. So, hopefully, it *will* be back online very
soon.

Ivan, since we've already established with everyone that it's Nikash'
template that is going to be the base for the site theme, can I
suggest that we have a voice conversation to discuss how we can get
ahead ASAP working together?

We could either chat via Skype or, if you mail me a phone number, I
can telephone you on the day and time of your choice? (We're in nearby
time zones.) We'd probably make *much* quicker progress in 15 mins or
half an hour than by just e-mail.

What do you think?
