Hello designers,
I would like to start reworking the Writer fields UI (the dialog
triggered by Ctrl+F2). As I am a hacker and not really a UI designer,
I'll need your help ;)
Among the stuffs I'ld like to fix on the user experience POV:
* Add a filter in the Cross-references tab [0]
* In the Functions tab, the Conditions, Then, Else text boxes are
often too small (eg when using database fields there)
Along with that there is a hidden feature I'ld like to add a UI for.
When importing doc protected files with editable fields, Writer handles
this behavior. The problem is that there is no way to do the same when
creating a document from scratch. This will probably be linked with the
read-only mode issues.
Do you have any idea to improve that dialog?
