Hi,

David Nelson asked for some buttons the other day.

Thought I'd give it a go..

Let me know if that is or isn't acceptable..any of it, all of it...

Please don't follow this approach.

These are the kind of graphics Christoph and I talked about as weakening the TDF brand.

There are still concerns about adding the application symbols to the TDF symbol, because people might think that this would allow them to add whatever they want to the document symbol.

In my eyes the new mimetype icons add their information in a way that respects the TDF symbol - and they will be central graphics of our branding on their own.

This is different for any other graphics, so I'd like to keep the branding guideline: "Don't change the logo by e.g. adding additional graphic elements to the 'Document Symbol'."

We can discuss the branding guidelines here, but in general I think they are a good compromise between free design culture and branding consistency.

Best regards

Bernhard
