It could be either, I suppose. Pure virtual functions can't be called because
they have no implementation, and if I remember correctly, you can't instantiate
a class containing a pure virtual function.
The next step would be to install debugging symbols and run a debugging tool
to find out where it's happening and what's calling it. I don't know how this
is done under MS-Windows, as I'm a Linux user.
