It looks like that bug was submitted via the BSA. Perhaps we need to
be more explicit in the BSA about authoring bugs in English?

Hi,

Please see
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44795>
I do not know the current status of the BSA-FR what will create mails to
qa-fr list instead of bug reports.

I believe that the FR BSA is in testing right now; last I heard things
were just about done, but we were having some issues with dropped
email.

It's planned to do similar for other
Languages with many users, and may be we can find a similar solution for
other Languages, some checkbox "Translation -> English required" what will
send the report to a list vor bugs "all other languages" where volunteers
will help with translation and reporter contact.

That's my general understanding of how the NLP BSAs will work.

I guess my question hinges more on how our primary BSA ("BSA-prime")
and the NLP BSAs will interact. Will they be hosted on separate pages,
or will we put some kind of language-picker as the first screen of the
BSA so that users may select an NLP BSA?

I was initially wary about putting a language-picker on BSA-prime,
especially if we only have support for a single NLP BSA (French),
however I think that such a picker could turn out to be REALLY helpful
for us. Here's why:

1) If we add a language picker, we'll inevitably get inquiries or bug
reports about the language picker not supporting XXX language. This
will be an excellent opportunity to ask the bug poster (who will
likely be posting in English) if they would be willing to step up and
lead the NLP translation team for XXX language.

Not everyone will say yes, but I think we'll get at least a few people
to agree to assume that role. Many of those people may be new to QA --
and that can help us grow the size of our team :-)

2) Per Sophie's notes about the French BSA, operators of NLP BSAs will
not only translate bugs, but will also check for duplicates and decide
whether to post a new bug or add a comment to an existing one.

What this means is that NLP BSAs will act as a filter, and we'll
probably get higher quality content out of them than we get out of
BSA-prime right now. That can definitely help to speed up the triage
process for the QA Team.
