Windows 7 gibt es doch in mehreren Varianten. Mit und ohne
umfangreiche Netzwerkfunktionen?!
Auf jeden Fall würde ich mal die Firewall auschauen, ob dort auch
der Standardport 3006 für MySql offen ist.
