ich habe nun auf meiner OpenSuse 11.3 OpenOffice.org gegen das akuelle
LibreOffice ersetzt.
Heute wollte ich zum ersten Mal einen Serienbrief ausdrucken. Die
Verarbeitung der Briefe bis zum Beginn des Drucks ist gelinde gesagt
sehr langsam. Es dauert ewig bis der Druck beginnt. Das war bei
OpenOffice nicht der Fall. Hat jemand eine Idee wo es da klemmen könnte?
Schau einmal nach der Java-Version. Ich habe in SuSE 11.2 das Update
gesperrt, weil ab der 1.6.0.u23 Base bzw. die HSQLDB nicht mehr
bedienbar war (30 Sekunden, um durch ca. 700 Datensätze zu scrollen
...). Ein Downgrade auf die 1.6.0.u22 von Sun hat geholfen.
