Ich habe jetzt schnell einmal eine Testumgebung mit einer MariaDB (alt:
MySQL) erstellt. Da funktioniert die Limitierung in dem neuen Editor von
LO 4.1.0.0beta2 einwandfrei mit
SELECT * FROM `libretest`.`Table1` AS `Table1` LIMIT 5
- also ohne die festgestellte Fehlermeldung.

Also wäre das dann ein Bug in der HSQL? Oder hätten andere RDBMS damit
auch Probleme?

Die GUI müsste also in Abhängigkeit von der benutzten Datenbank eine
sinnvolle Fehlermeldung ausspucken. Die Fehlermeldung im Abfrageeditor
bei einem LIMIT kommt von der HSQLDB.

O.K. Aber müsste das dann jemand als Bug gegen die HSQL oder gegen LO
melden (bzw. hat das vielleicht schon jemand gemeldet)?
