Hi,
I haven't exactly followed the project lately as I was quite busy these
last two weeks.
One item that caught my attention is redistribution of the JRE. In the
DVD I produce for distribution here in Quebec Canada I opted not to
distribute the JRE because of the following clause in the license:
"(vi) you agree to defend and indemnify Oracle and its licensors from
and against any damages, costs, liabilities, settlement amounts and/or
expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred in connection with any
claim, lawsuit or action by any third party that arises or results from
the use or distribution of any and all Programs and/or Software."
I hope this is taken into consideration before release.
This only highlights the urgency to remove the Java dependencies, IMVHO.
Cheers,
Fabian

Thanks for that note. It sounds like we should also take a closer look
at the JRE redistribution.
We are just working on the EN portion of the disk and hope to work on
the ES and FR portion. Would you have any suggestions as to extensions
and templates for ES and FR languages.
How did you treat the documentation part of your DVD. Did you provide
only the EN version?
Cheers
Marc
