This is the first time that I have really involved myself this deeply with
groups like these. I am also on the Mageia marketing group. From what I
understand, if you feel that something should be done, then go ahead and do
it. The group is trying to build itself on the principles of a meritocracy.
In meritocracy, many of the expectations are build on the premise that if
you are going to do anything, it has to be done in the interest of all. So
you can create any project, as long as it is in the interest of the LibO
group. If it merits any interest, then others will join you in the effort.
So if you think that something should be done, if you think there is
consensus from a few and if you think it will help organize, then you go
ahead an do it.

I understand that, just thinking back to working with OOo I guess, It just
seemed like alot of the time when you went ahead and did something sometimes
you would get the whole, this is not what we had in mind, I wish you would
have spoken to someone else before you did this speech.
I feel that right now, there are about half a dozen active members of
marketing for the US and CAN, If there are more I hope they will speak up,
and add themselves to the Wiki.
