A confusão vem da ambiguidade da palavra inglesa "free" que significa
"livre" e "grátis" ao mesmo tempo (grátis = free of charge).
O termo mais preciso seria realmente "software de código aberto".
Mas devo reconhecer que o termo software livre é mais popular e comum no
meio de TI.
