Kortste klap: Laar deze persoon LO op zijn Mac installeren en doe alles
in LO formaat...
LO voor de Mac staat hier:

Het schijnt, dat zelfs met MS Office voor Windows gemaakte documenten
problemen geven met MS Offie op de Mac, zo las ik toen ik wat zocht naar
een oplossing voor je probleem (en dan te bedenken dat Word en Excel er
al waren voordat Windows bestond.....). Daarom is mijn idee, gebruik op
beide LO.
