Ok.
Het is een boek dat, met harmonieleer als basis, de praktijk en
theorie van akkoorden beschrijft met enigszins de nadruk op toepassing
in de jazz en daarnaast hoe de manier van verwerking door de hersenen
weer bepaald hoe wij akkoorden horen (als gepensioneerd
hersenonderzoeker kruipt het bloed kruipt nu eenmaal waar het niet
gaan kan!) en dus als componist/arrangeur maken. Maar dat is ver
buiten dit onderwerp.
Het is wel een onderwerp dat mij (als musicus (o.m. Jazz en Big Band) en
muziektheoreticus, alsmede hersengeïnteresseerde) erg boeiend lijkt.
