Van oudsher is het een goed gebruik van de documentatie van LibreOffice om
de persoonsvorm u te gebruiken.
Tegenwoordig wordt u echter als ouderwets en onpersoonlijk ervaren.
Op bijvoorbeeld websites en e-mails van bedrijven wordt steeds meer de
jij-vorm gebruikt.
Ook las ik een artikel waar werd gesuggereerd dat de u-vorm in de toekomst
zal gaan verdwijnen.
Nu overweeg ik om ook in de documentatie van LibreOffice over te gaan op de
jij-vorm.
Graag hoor ik van jullie wat je mening hierover is.

Als vertaler van KDE gebruik ik altijd de U-vorm, dit mede als respect voor de Nederlands
sprekende Belgen, die nog steeds veelvuldig U gebruiken in de dagelijkse taal.
Dus zonder goed overleg met dit gedeelte van de Nederlands sprekenden zou deze
discussie niet gevoerd moeten worden.
