Hi,
it seemed the LibreOffice project and TDF were (and is) not interested
in my offer for volunteering.
It is also interesting to see, that there were no (in public nor
private) communication from the TDF infra team.
Kind regards,
Andreas

Hi,
FYI, the TDF Github repository for the current LibreOffice extensions
and templates site has been fully migrated to Python 3 and Plone 5.2.x
(the latest Plone release). I worked on this migration during the last
month including some improvements of the Plone add-ons which I
exclusively created for the extensions-templates-site.
I tested the new Python 3 buildout on my PC without any issues yet. The
tests on Travis-CI went also well.
I expect no issues with the migration of the current LibreOffice
extensions and templates site to the new buildout environment, but
recommend to run tests beforehand.
Because I don't have access to the server, which is running the current
site, and to its database or something similar, I couldn't run such
tests myself yet.
I'm open for proposals how to proceed with the test of the migration to
the new buildout environment.
Kind regards,
Andreas
