There was an article in the USA that stated that the government was
investigating this service for some type of currency fraud.  It was a
few months ago and I do not know what it was all about, but after that I
had not seen any "advertisements" about using Bit Coins anymore.

that's interesting, as my impression was that the legal details have finally been sorted out sort of worldwide... well, I will see what details the merchant provider shows us, and what fees involved are.
