but perhaps they thought that "Templates:SomethingSomething" might
imply more than a single template.

Anyhow, my preference would be to use the plural consistently
("Features and Enhancements", "Mailing Lists", "Events", "EasyHacks",
"Templates for links", etc..). But if there's strong opposition, then
I understand.

I have absolutely no preference between template/templates, what it
seems for the moment that it's more natural for wiki users to go to
template to create them, as there is more of them in that category. The
need really is to have only one place for all.
