Florian out of curiosity is there a way we could embed something like a
spreadsheet from google docs only editable by you and possibly some other
bod members to show an updated monthly expense report as well as the annual
expenses over all?

indeed. :-) It can't harm to have a donation banner, but I'd remove the
progress bar now.

 Is there anywhere a user can go to get information on how the money has
been spent? This would also be good for year end report writing ... it
will show that we are transparent and that the funding of the project
has purpose, and the community is informed of the projects
plans/spending of funds.


Sadly, I lacked time to update the budget the last weeks, which is a good
source of information. The annual report will be published soon, and gives
a great overview of what we have done in 2012, so that can serve for this
purpose.

Indeed, showing more transparently 1. what we use money for 2. and what
plans we have (iow. why we need more money ;-) is desirable.
