I'm on a business cable connection max download speed of 2.2Mbps which I

Regardless of the mirror there is something realkystrange going on.
Business cable gets priority over residential connections

there are a number of factors to count in. We try to provide the best
mirror possible, but from time to time, this simply does not work and you
have to manually choose a mirror.

Different ISPs have different peerings, so do different mirror
datacenters, and it may happen that even a "business connection" (which
normally does not have any higher priority, by the way) is slower than a
cheap connection at another ISP.

The best is to report your ISP/IP and the mirror chosen, so we can adjust
the mirrors priority and see if it helps.
