Priority: medium
Bug ID: 57135
CC: website@global.libreoffice.org
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Printing a one-page doc inserts a blank first page and
prints both
Severity: minor
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: pmw@qnan.org
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: NEW
Version: 3.6.2.2 release
Component: WWW
Product: LibreOffice
On Windows 8 32-bit, with LibreOffice 3.6.2, I want to print a one-page MS Word
97-2003 document in the most usual way (File -> Print) while having the
document open and editable. The print dialog comes up normally, where I keep
the default printer (Xerox ColorQube 9201) and don't change any settings. As
soon as I click Print, LibreOffice creates a blank page in front of the
one-and-only existing page. Both pages are sent to the printer. Then I have
to manually remove that extra page. This is reproducible.
If, on the other hand, I print from Print Preview, everything works as
expected. No rogue blank pages appear.
This bug was actually experienced by a customer of mine (I witnessed it), so I
don't have that specific document handy. I also have not tried other
documents. I can get the document and try other stuff if this bug isn't a
dupe.
