As I was not part of the project prior to the TDF/LibreOffice, I am
curious if these are all new expenses that were not part of running OOo?
Am I right to assume that all infrastructure items were sponsored by
Sun? Is this right?

back in OOo times, most infrastructure was in fact sponsored by Sun -
and from what I know, the budget was much, much higher. It was a huge
expense. ;-)

We had some entities providing infrastructure, like the Freies Office
Deutschland e.V., but the majority indeed was handled by Sun.

If we still have knowledge of any entity that was supporting OOo in the past, would it be possible to approach them? Or are they all still supporting AOO with infrastructure? IMO, there is nothing wrong if larger entities lend support to both projects. Or, have these supporting entities followed the communities along with their support?

Cheers,

Marc
