Hello SilverStripe gurus :-)

is there any easy way of archiving the current contents of the
conference.libreoffice.org page, or e.g. move it to a /2011 subfolder?

Depends on how you want to archive it.
One could move all pages below a 2011 page, or one could make the site
conferece2011.libreoffice.org instead.

For the first, create a page called 2011 and then drag all pages below
that page and you're done, for the latter, change the domainname of
the subsite (and create DNS & vhost entries) and you're done.

The first option has the slight disadvantage that the nesting changes,
and thus the menu-navigation will no longer work as before (but the
paris conference page only has toplevel pages, so the second-level
navigation will work in this case).

ciao
Christian
