I'd try with a newer browser. IE 6 is unsupported IMHO even by
Microsoft, and doesn't support many important standards, thus it may
also fail for the certificate.

A bit of followup:
I managed to actually read the "wrong" certificate, and found
it's issued to YOU! :)
Here are the details:
Issued To
Common Name *.documentfoundation.org
Organization Florian Effenberger
Organizational Unit StartCom Verified Certificate Member
Serial Number 35:7E
Issued By
Common Name StartCom Class 2 Primary Intermediate Server CA
Organization StartCom Ltd.
Organizational Unit Secure Digital Certificate Signing
Validity
Issued On 09/20/2010
Expires On 09/20/2012
MD5 Fingerprint 09:55:7B:63:2B:98:63:3F:C4:5B:B1:67:47:4D:D0:83
(I hope there are no typos, as firefox doesn't let me copy this text...)
For some reason this (apparently legitimate) certificate is sometimes
used with the wrong site (a *.libreoffice.org site)
Hope this helps you find the error
Cheers
