On IE 6, I get the Security Alert, “The name on the security certificate
does not match the name of the site.” The certificate says, “Issued to: *.
documentfoundation.org”
I'd try with a newer browser. IE 6 is unsupported IMHO even by
Microsoft, and doesn't support many important standards, thus it may
also fail for the certificate.

I have the same problem, on firefox on Ubuntu. However, the problem isn't
consistent.
I have a bug report, and I go to the webpage every day. Yesterday it worked, but
today it gives me the "untrusted connection" warning, claiming that:
""""
www.libreoffice.org uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
*.documentfoundation.org , documentfoundation.org
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
"""
I still get this error now. The funny thing is - when I open Chrome and past the
SAME LINK, it works. Examining the certificate in Chrome shows me that it's OK
(registered to *libreoffice.org). So for some reason Firefox is getting a
different certificate.
The site I'm visiting is:
https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45360
If I had to guess, I'd say you were under some sort of attack. Or that you still
have some old certificate that is sometimes used.
