Hi guys,

So ... the time is coming (in fact it's drawing rather close) when we
will have a 3.5 release.

There is a great long list of features here:

        http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/3.5

relating to that - which are not as screen-shotted, and prettified as
they could / should be. They clearly need turning into a list like this:

        http://www.libreoffice.org/download/3-4-new-features-and-fixes/

With a lot of polish applied: making it easy to get test files,
particularly for new and improved filters etc. And of course we need to
pull out some of the less visible features in the list to turn them into
highlights, for example:

"The word count dialog is modeless and updates as you type (Matt
         Pratt)"

Is quite significant for pay-per-word journalists, and deserves more
than a single line I think ;-)

        HTH,

                Michael.
