I hope what I have identified for you Florian is a start :). If it helps
if you tell me what you have running and the servers etc I might be able
to provide some more check.
Another one which is i would say essential to check is the gateway used
by the servers that way if a server goes offline or there is a network
issue it can be resolved quickly
