HI Alex, *,

As I have been wondering why a couple of strings in askbot were in
Turkish, I first suspected a correlation to the problem with the
extensions site - but it turned out that those two effects were
unrelated, just a coincidence.

While looking for the cause, I found the reason: the html snippets/the
variable replacements therein apparently are cached, and whatever
language the user who visited the page did use, that language will be
delivered to all users for those strings.

I touched libo-askbot/askbot/skins/default/templates/macros.html and
visited the page with browser locale set to French → now the affected
strings are in French.

(talking about the "posted at" / "updated at" / "add a comment" strings here)

I didn't look further why only those strings are affected, and not the
rest, but that indicates that it probably is a missing flag
somewhere...

ciao
Christian
