My name is Sérgio Marques and i am one of two translators for Lo in
Portuguese. I would like to request to setup our web site
http://pt.libreoffice.org
I am already registered in Cms as smarquespt.
Welcome :-)
You may login at https://pt.libreoffice.org/admin/
with subsite admin permissions.
Publisher and (restricted) author roles are also available for your team
members.
Although my experience with Silverstripe in null, so if someone could
explain me the right procedure to strat working in localized website,
download English website, which will be my template, and then how to commit
changes I will be very grateful. If not, thanks anyway, but I will not be
able to create the localized website.
Easiest way is to copy the sourcecode from the english pages you want,
and paste it into the html editor of the new pages you'll generate at
your subsite and translate it then. So you'll keep most of the formatting.
Please check out the 'Help' tab for a brief introduction on how to
handle Silverstripe in the first place.
We offer different 'page-types' e.g. for Download, donations or feeds,
you will have to choose the right type to get the features you expect,
just ask here for details in case.
On top of the admin panel you may choose 'Website Project' to find our
documentation for e.g. Photoshuffler and other nice features.
Don't worry, everybody building a subsite started where you are :-)
Cheers
Erich
