currently the extensions website seems to be broken, when I search for
Extensions I get
"Es ist leider ein Fehler aufgetreten…
Der Fehler wurde als Eintrag mit der Nummer 1311924173.970.595165579229

The problem appears in the moment when I select "Any Version"
under "Extension Releases".

Same problem in Template Center.
I get this error too. I had to investigate that, because such error doesn't
appear on my local installation with a copy of the database from two days

I found a workaround. I commented the relevant lines out for the meantime. Now it
works without an error.

BTW: Can we get a status information on
"This site (currently on my PC) ..." is not up to date.
Yes, a bit. I updated the site with a new layout product in a first
version. There are some layout issues that I'm working on. Hopefully I
finished most of the issues next week.

Next status update: I reworked the layout and uploaded it. I hope you all like it now

I'm thinking about of different instances for extensions and templates because the
search of "All categories" displayes all categories of extensions and templates
together. The current solution would be to splitt extensions and templates off. That
would be currently an easy and fast task.

What do you think?

I think that the Extensions and the Templates should be split. Same for the dictionaries.

When you want to search for templates and example files, the search and the default pages that are displayed should not include extensions. If you want to look at extensions to LO, you may not want to look at the template and sample files. Also, you may want to take the dictionaries out of the extension categories. There over 180 spell checking, thesaurus, and other dictionary-like .oxt files available outside of the language packs. These may be better as either a separate list, or as a default search result page.

At the North American CMS server site
We have made that split. We so not have all the available extensions or templates, plus no search option, but I think having this type of split makes sense to me.
