I activated it ;-)

The Plone framework itself has a translation framework (it doesn't translate the 
content itself). You can translate the content of the homepage of the extension-
template-site into Portugues and Plone will display this translation instead of the 
English version, if someone with that language setting visit the site.

If I should give you an account to translate the page please sent me your data (name, 
prefered username, email-address that should be used) per PM.
