We still also need to add a statement on the "Home" page regarding our
support for OpenSource license (preferably "copy left"). You had
mentioned this in another thread and I have it on my to-do-help list.
Italo should also take part in creating this statement, just so that we
are all on the same wavelength.

We need some more text on the front page or for a page with a link from
the front
page where we explain that we support only extensions / templates under
a OpenSource
license (preferable copy left). Maybe Italo or others could give more
input for this
task.

Yes, I remember ;-)
Could you please make a first draft for this? I can create you and Italo an account
on the website and generate a new page for this, if that helps.
Hi,
I really do not agree with the idea that more discussion of license
needs be on the front page - it seems quite clear already. More
information on the application and on extensions perhaps, but not about
license.

Hi Drew,
Sorry, could you point me to the page where it is made clear? I may have
missed it. --- I am not saying this to annoy anyone, just trying to see
if extension/template contributors will have some kind of idea of the
LibO license preferences so that these same people are not annoyed at
finding out otherwise.
Last line on the page:
"LibreOffice remains committed to providing users with quality software
authored under free software licenses, and, as such, our catalogue of
extensions and templates are published under free software licenses."
How much more needs saying, what else is there to say in _this_
context.
If we want to embelish the front page of the site, and I agree with that
idea, then do so about the software - some dynamic content about recent
extension or template uploads, or highest rated, or something we can
brainstorm on that.
We should try to make our web/wiki pages as informative as possible.
Agreed. regarding the software.
Best wishes,
//drew
