Sorry I was confusing the scripts, webchecker is actually to check for
broken links, the one I was refering to is urlwatch which is written in
python, you can get here:

Thanks. Seems fine for me as far as I see the basic features list. I'll
try it out. This would reduce my efforts to some extend.
