I think it might be somewhat a bit rushed as a decision. I said I
like it, but I'm not the only one to speak here.
It has been on the discussion list and on this list for anyone to
comment.
.. which from my point of view is enough in this case.
In general I think acting without discussing every here and there is
part of succesful community work, as long as upcoming concerns are
handled respectfully and discussed *then* with an open sense for however
the result might be. That the latter for the moment doesn't work well
on the website area is a different story we hopefully overcome soon.

If we could leave it as is for the moment, we can all think of it
and expect a later more manageable discussion. IMHO, the SC should
put it on their agenda at some point in the near future.
Regarding this special topic I don't think a decree from the SC might
bring peace. As You point out this should be take place more manageable
maybe embedded in a general communication concept for the whole project
covering the communication flow from user on the one side to developer
on the other.
In the meantime, we are well served by the linked forums.
+1
These are just my suggestions.
Sure -and I liked them- but given that we indeed keep on having the
same questions we need to indeed have the SC decide what specific
answer should be on the website.
In this case the text was well elaborated for the given situation -
thanks Marc! - so from my point of view no need for a "decree".
For the moment, let's just give time
for community process to work out and not make it definitive :)
What's "definitive" in a living project like ours? :o))
Thank you for your contribution,
same from my part.
Gruß/regards
